Learn about the steps you need to take in order to apply for your first passport or how to renew.  You can determine how much it will cost, what documents you may need, and if you want a regular passport book and/or passport card. For any travel outside the United States you will need a passport and sometimes they can take a while so make sure to plan ahead.

Learn more about the destination that you are visiting and what precautions, if any, you might need to understand.  Just type the name of where you are traveling and this site will provide you a level from 1 (Exercise normal precautions) to 4 (Do not travel). These are updated regularly but if you have any questions, we will be glad to help.

Some countries may need a travel visa. A visa is a document granted by that country stating how long you are allowed to stay and what your purpose is. There are several different types: student, travel, or business. These visas can cost money and some time to get so make sure to take that into account before traveling.
